Another thought on toosday

When we read this at the CB this morning our heart nearly broke and our eyes were leaking for those creatures kept by thoughtless beans.

Later today we read at Parkers blog:

I have nothing to complain about. Nothing. I have the best life a kitty could wish for. And I am thankful.

An she is so perfectly right. She reminded us that – like her – we easily forget that there have been very rough times in our lives and we easily complain about nothing compared to the situation of many other kitties out there.

Othello

We feel a bit bummed now.

We read it too and it made us very sad. We are furry grateful that we haf got a loving furrever home, and we wish all kitties could have one as well.

We are with 10 kitties at home and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Last night I read it at the cat blogosphere and I asked the staff to donate, they did right away.

Its funny, I just stopped by Parker’s before coming here. Its true, we lead such wonderful lives for cats. We’re all lucky.

It made our eyes leak too. And Parker is right, we are very lucky to have great furever homes and beans. But sometimes we do forget. It’s not any more good for us to not forgive ourselfs for being cats though. Maybe we should just be fankful as much as we can and snuggle lots. We can’t be purrfect, but the cat blogosphere is full of really good cats anyways.
Purrrrrrrs and nosekissies,

yep we felt very bad too. theres 16 cats and 2 dogs here but we’re all rescues and very healty. We had 2 more dogs last year but they died because they were 19 (old age). But our beans work very hard to take care of us and make sure we all get loved on and attention. We fight sometimes over silly things but this story makes us kitties be appreciative and thankful we found our beans. Its a very sad situation for those poor animals.

It kind of brings us down to earth when we hear about things like this.We get caught up in our world and forget that not every cat(dog, and other beings) live the good life we do.
Purrs to all suffering beings!

You are right. We are all very lucky cats.

Yes we are lucky that we have wonderful homes. We need to work so that all kitties have wonderful homes.

We certainly are very lucky to be in our forever homes!

Purrrrrrs, Willow

Thanksgiving Thursday Thirteen…

Thursday thirteen, Thanksgiving style. Stuff I am thankful for. Obviously.
I really had little invested in the stock market so despite it’s continued tankage, I lost little.
Inversely, the price of oil keeps going up and up. As does the price of …
